The forum's been moved to the new server. The DNS might take a bit to update for everyone and it'll update based on your upstream network so it might work for some users sooner than others.

All I did was move the site currently. I've still got some more updates to do such as removing the blog links in the site and the forum software is a version behind. I'll try to do that this weekend, but late at night. I want to make sure the move goes through ok before I go updating/changing other things.

So excuse our dust and if you hit the site and it's turned off it's probably update time. After that we should be good for a bit.

Thanks for your patience all.

Rick

Yay! Success it seems. Ok, so things are over on the new server now. Sorry for the mess. As you can see from the OP in this thread I thought it was all going to be set the 18th. Clearly that didn't go according to plan.

Let me know if you run into any issues. We'll be missing the posts from the old board from today, but hopefully it's not many and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks again for not getting rope together on me guys. \:D/

The team I work with here were involved in doing much of the QA planning and post-migration testing of the application and database servers that the company operates for Ford Customer Service (all dealer-facing stuff), and the entire migration from planning through to execution took six months, so I'm impressed when anyone can do any of that kind of stuff in a few days!! :)
