jim biddle and i are hosting a wood sale at my old shop in dexter - this saturday, 9:00 AM. we are going to sell furniture-quality wood at a low enough price to ensure we don't have to move it to the new shop.

details to follow.

address is 6622 mast road in dexter. it's a white barn sitting on land. please use the north driveway so you don't use my neighbor's driveway, just to the south of mine.

my cell is 734 730 9560, reach out through text or call if you have any questions on timing and such, or if you're coming from far away and have questions before making the drive.

in addition, there is a bunch of big poplar boards. clear, very long, heavy old-growth poplar. we also have cedar for sale, both clear and knotty, and some cedar beams.

Buy one board or buy all of them, you'll get a good price. For my domestic lumber, 50% off of the best price that you can get it from Johnson's, easy for everyone to look up before and during the sale. Even if you normally only buy wood for the upcoming project, this price will be hard to beat. I just don't want to move it. Flitches sell as one (they are sectioned off of a log so you can get matching grain and color for a project). Dave has some unique wood, so his prices may be different, as are all of my exotics that are for sale. Also, I have a lot of Santos mahogany at home that I'd like to sell, at a good price if anyone has an interest.

All of the wood is kiln dried except for some red oak, I think. I think mostly all of it is rough cut, like you'd buy from a sawmill, but it's been cut thick enough to mill down to dimension. It's what Dave and I use for our projects. We'd keep it if we had the room, but we seem to have more of an eye for buying rather than selling. Hope to see many of you tomorrow.

We'll be adding some more wood soon. We still have extra wood from the original sale (better deals may be had since the first-comers had first choice). I have some really nice Santos mahogany coming out as well as some exotic one-offs. Stay tuned while we figure out the date and time.
