The design is from FWW #178. This was my first time working with mortise and tenon joints, and the black accents are ebonized oak instead of ebony.

Nice. I love the exposed ray plane in the middle of the top. I know some people like large panels to be really consistent, with bookmatching and the like, and obviously that looks great as well. But I do really love having the spatter of ray flake lighting up a section of the top like this.

I might like this, if the photos ever finish loading. Clean the cobwebs off me after that happens. Waiting for 5 MB to download will take a halfhour. And there is no reason for such high-resolution photos here. But good luck to you just the same.
