I have Stanley 246 miter box that I refurbished a few years ago & I really don't use it as much as I though I would. It was completely disassembled & cleaned up then repainted & reassembled.
The saw is a 20" long Disston, But I'm not sure of the model# The saw cuts pretty good as is (clean & straight), But it could probably use a good sharpening.

I got the saw really cheap from a friend of mine so I don't have mush $$ into it, But I did spend a lot of time cleaning everything up on it. It's amazing to see all the little machining details that were done just for the miter locking mechanism. :s_omg

Looking to get $35 for the 246 Stanley miter box.

Here's a couple of before & after pics of the miter box/saw

Nice job cleaning it up. I use my miter box a lot makes a lot less dust then the power miter.

Thanks Jacob!

Yeah I thought I would use it more than I did, But since I rebuilt my RAS table top & added the hold down clamps / T-track / and dust collection, I've been using that for almost everything now.
