Latest Project a quilt rack. Had a few quilts made by family members in the closet need a way to display them so I made a quilt rack.
Gave me a chance to try out the Bench Top Mortising Machine I picked up from a member awhile back. Used it to make the holes for the quilt rack bars. Rack is made of clear pine. Turned out nice.

Jacob,

That looks great! Is it your own design?

Not my own design, seen one on line similar to the one I made, came up with my own plans using the wood I had available.

Very nice. I made a free standing quilt rack early in my wood working adventure. I like the idea of a wall hanging one as well. SWMBO has tons of quilts that should be displayed but aren't. Will add this to the short list of upcoming projects!

Very cool. I really want to build one of these as a first project someday because we have a few quilts and afghans that need a home.
