I just replaced all the leaf springs on my Jeep and I was pondering if there was anything I could reuse them for and one suggestion I had was that they were excellent to makes knives out of.
Well, since I don't do any forging and the other suggestions didn't interest me I figured I would offer them up to the metal guys on here.
I have 3 complete (assembled) sets of leaf springs and 1 set that I took apart. The springs are 2" wide and 2-1/2" wide per pair.
If anyone is interested in them send me a PM.
They are free to a good home.

I will take them if no one else wants them.

I would make a froe but i dont have a welder or welding skills.

I read an article recently where someone used leaf springs to make plane blades for wooden planes.

Enjoy
The way I'm going with the Jeep I might be replacing the new set I just put on for some custom ones in the next year or two.
When those come available I'll post them here again.
