Z-Wave no.

I have Insteon systems running at my house and mom's. Not sure about Z-Wave but if you buy the right model of the Insteon Hub it is Apple HomeKit compatible now (I have an older one that isn't.)

I'm using it for:
- Automation of indoor and outdoor lighting on schedules
- Unifying lighting on multiple circuits to one "switch" (really a wireless keypad mounted on the wall.)
- Remote control of a gas fireplace
- Remote control of a gas water heater (its a power-vent so it plugs in)
- Leak/overflow detection at toilets -- eventually want to add the washing machine, sinks, and tie to a water shutoff
- Eventually plan to monitor basic function of my generator -- power loss, gen running, power transferred, etc.
