A friend of mine has gotten into flying drones and for some reason needs a scope for troubleshooting and repair.
I don't know anything about them. but was wondering if anyone could suggest a local source to buy a used one.
Thanks
Scott

There are a USB oscilloscopes that are meant to interface with your laptop. I use an older version of this one.
https://www.amazon.com/Velleman-PCSGU25 ... cilloscope

Then you have "Pocket" oscilloscopes,
https://www.amazon.com/Velleman-HPS140I ... cilloscope

and "handheld" oscilloscopes.
https://www.amazon.com/VELLEMAN-HPS10-H ... cilloscope

Read the Amazon reviews for the limitations on these, but think they may be adequate for hobbyist drones.

Interesting this should pop up.

I recently did some research into determining inductance and resonant frequency for a coil. Turns out you need two things to do this successfully - an oscilloscope and a function generator. Considering the expense for this kind of equipment (and the need to figure out how to run it) I was planning on trying to find some hobbyist I could engage to do this for me.

However, it looks like that Velleman PCSGU250 checks all the boxes, and if I can find one used might be worth picking up. The full price is a bit much for the single purpose I'd be putting it to...
