Wright Steel Fabrication in Redford. Prices are great almost 40% less than the box stores. They don't have a large selection mostly Flat, angle iron, square, round, rectangle tubing some round bars and steel mesh. Good place to check if you need steel at a good price.

Just next to Wrights is a machine shop with all matters of presses/brakes/etc that will sell small quantities of drops at reasonable prices. Picked up some galvanized sheet metal scraps there. Young guy that works there is real nice.

Heck steel in Ida is very fair. Dwight is his first name. Located on dirt road just 2 miles south of M50 between Dundee and Monroe.
